• When you request information via our website or otherwise contact us in person, by phone, or by mail, whether postal or in electronic format, we may collect such information as you provide.
• We may collect your contact information if you register for an event.
• We may collect your contact and payment information when you purchase a ticket or make a contribution, whether on our website, over the phone, or by mail.

• We will collect payment information, billing address, and other information necessary to process a donation or event registration.

• We will use your information to protect against potential fraud. We may verify with third parties the information collected in the course of processing a gift, event registration or other donation. If you use a credit or debit card, we will use card authorization to verify that your card information and address matches the information that you supplied to us and that the card being used has not been reported lost or stolen.

Except as described in this Donor Privacy Policy or at the time we request the information, we do not otherwise disclose your personal information to any third parties. Further, the Els for Autism Foundation will not sell or trade your personally identifiable information to any third parties.

 

We reserve the right to change this Donor Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will note the last update at the bottom of this Donor Privacy Policy.

1. Els for Autism Foundation solicits and accepts gifts that are consistent with its mission.
2. Donations will generally be accepted from individuals, partnerships, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, without limitations.
3. In the course of its regular fundraising activities, the Els for Autism Foundation will accept donations of money, real property, personal property, stock, and in-kind services.
4. Certain types of gifts must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special liabilities they may pose for the Els for Autism Foundation. Examples of gifts that will be subject to review include gifts of real property, gifts of personal property, and gifts of securities.
